My Technical Graphics professor (who is also my academic advisor) is the owner of the second Grabber Blue S550 Mustang I’ve ever seen. And his has the RIGHT engine.

He has a 2017 GT Premium Comvertible. And yes, it is a manual. He’s had 22 Mustangs over the years from every generation, and this is his 23rd.

Funnily enough, he ordered his in May and I ordered mine in July; but he didn’t get his until about a week ago, and I got mine in August. So I asked if I could have some extra credit, because Mustang.

Maybe, who knows.

I imagine his probably took longer because it is a convertible. They are probably on a different build schedule compared to the hard top.

Also one of my friends at school just got a 2014 Grabber Blue GT passed down from his dad (who got a 2016 GT350). It’s a really cool color.

When my mom ordered her GT350 it took six weeks to get built and delivered. Six. In comparison my dad’s 14 GT was about 2 and a half months and that was considered short.

We never picked up that Shelby because after a few weeks of negotiating they wouldn’t take off the mark up. Long story short we found the exact car near Austin for MSRP and had the same build week. Yet it took weeks for it to arrive another 200 miles or so. It still baffles me but it worked out in the end. Funny how it took so much longer.

Oh, and the car we didn’t take, they wanted 5K for it, then after we passed on it they asked 10K over and last I heard it still sits. The one she got was posted the day we saw it.
